Living Life to the Fullest | Life After a Stroke | Virtual Seminar

December 7, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Are you or someone you love struggling to get back to “normal” life after suffering a stroke?

Considered an “Acquired Brain Injury,” a stroke can result in significant changes in speech production, memory, understanding of language and more.

Many people feel that receiving such a diagnosis is “the end” and have trouble seeing that progress can be made.

Jessica Rubinstein is a local board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in cognitive and communication treatment after ‘acquired brain injury’ in adults. Jessica goes beyond traditional therapy by focusing treatment around what matters most to the individual. She aims to foster community through unique group treatments, and believes that acknowledging mental health in treatment is essential for sustainable success.

During each seminar, Jessica will clear up misconceptions about modern therapy and share inspirational stories and ideas from real patients to demonstrate the impact of a holistic approach to treatment.

Her mission is to educate people about how rehabilitation therapy has changed in recent years, and how much improvement can be made regardless of date of onset.

This is the first of a three-part series.
These seminars are FREE and open to the community.
