A Virtual Evening of Hope

September 23, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$36

Our annual Evening of Hope goes virtual this year! This event is a virtual community gathering to celebrate the accomplishments of Voices of Hope, to present the L’Dor V’Dor Award and the Simon Konover Recognition for Excellence in Holocaust Teaching, and to thank our donors and constituents.

We are proud to welcome Elisha Wiesel as he remarks on “Remembering My Father, Elie Wiesel,” a special message from Producer Abe Gurko on his up and coming documentary “Won’t Be Silent,” based on his uncle’s life as the Vilna Ghetto Symphony Orchestra, his tragic death, and his music that has emerged in recent years.

We are honoring local hero Gayle Temkin with the L’Dor V’Dor Award for her contributions to the community and her passion for Holocaust education and passing down history and tradition through the generations. Emceed by Dennis House, this will be a celebration of Voices of Hope’s work, its impact on educators, students and the community, and a chance for us thank everyone who has joined us in this momentous year.
