Dale Carnegie Leadership Considerations to Maximize Peak Performance When Reopening

July 1, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

As the restrictions start to loosen up, companies will want to start focusing on getting back to business as normal. But, what is normal after the current pandemic crisis?

Leaders in any organization are expected to know the answers to these perplexing questions. They are also supposed to have the tools and/or experience to deal with it.

All the stress and anxiety prevalent in this one-of-a-kind pandemic crisis is causing new and unanticipated employee situations. As Dale Carnegie put it, ?When dealing with people, remember you are not dealing with creatures of logic, but creatures of emotion.? What managers and leaders do, say and how they say it has a direct effect on their employees? stress and anxiety levels. The more senior the leader the greater the impact.

We?ve already started hearing about employees being fearful to come back to work, employees asking for health accommodations or having problems with childcare. The list goes on and on? It will take a herculean effort by empathetic and caring leaders to get people back to pre-crisis levels of productivity.

Based on Dale Carnegie organizational experience, this program focuses on Five Leadership Considerations leaders must think about to ease anxiety, create focus on performance and manage the emotional reactions of their employees. Understanding these five things will allow a leader to create a simple plan of action to get their business restarted in a ?New Normal? world. At the end of the session each participant will walk away with a Post Pandemic Re-Open Operational plan of action. Plus, the insight to accelerate employee engagement!
