DESCRIPTION
New World Soul represents collaborative musical strivings for increased racial justice in 2021, and particularly for those of African descent. Inspired by those who have passed and the musical traditions they created here in the “New World”, our music will reflect the activism of those who became ancestors in 2020; building upon musical traditions that reflect the soul(s) of the New World by fusing jazz, highlife, mizik rasin, and African American spirituals.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this event will be streamed in high quality from the chapel at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut. Upon reserving your ticket you will receive a link that will take you to our digital concert hall.
