Reflections on the Great Pause: A Morning for Seniors and Grandparents, with Jim and Beth Malley
As part of its “Together We Rise” series, Holy Family Retreat Center invites seniors and grandparents to join Jim and Beth Malley for “Reflections on the Great Pause” taking place Saturday, June 13, from 9-11 a.m.
Reflecting on the COVID-19 pandemic – a time of great angst and uncertainty – Jim and Beth will share their thoughts on lessons learned from the “great pause” and explore ways to cope with the challenges that face us as we strive to build a more thoughtful and hopeful future for our children and grandchildren.
Jim is the former chair of the Department of Counselor Education and Family Therapy at CCSU. Beth is co-curator of the Monastery Gallery of Art and a certified Zentangle teacher. They have been married for 52 years and have three children and nine grandchildren.
This program will be offered online via the Zoom platform. Information on how to access the program will be emailed to registered participants in advance. The offering to attend is $25.
