Summer Vacation Science Camp at The Children’s Museum

Keep your children entertained and educated, even when they’re out of school for the summer! The Children’s Museum always has fun and learning planned throughout the summer. Each camp week has a theme and is packed with scientific investigation, experiments, crafts, and educational games- all in the safe and educational environment of our museum.

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
$350/week TCM/RBNC members
$375/week Non-Members
Summer Vacation Science Camp is for children entering grades 1– 6.
(MUST BE AT LEAST 6 YEARS OLD)
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT NOON ON THE THURSDAY BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF EACH CAMP WEEK!

Remaining Weeks:
August 3-7: Animal Keepers Meet a new animal each day! Observe the behavior of various animals eating and exercising to find out what it takes to meet their individual needs.

August 10-14: Marvelous Mammals Have a blast meeting different furry animals for the week. Campers will have a chance to see many of our mammals including our chinchilla, guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets. We will have a guest veterinarian teach us about keeping animals healthy and how to care for injured animals.

August 17-21: Mythical Creatures From dragons to unicorns, become a magizoologist and join us for a mythical week including making your own fairy garden, doing magical experiments, and discovering more about mythical creatures.

This week is tentative and requires a minimum amount of interest to take place.
August 24-28: To the Extreme Join us for a high energy, action-packed week of end-of-the-summer fun-filled with games and challenges aimed to put campers skills to the test.
