Suzuki String Academy (Gr. 3-10) FULL DAY

The Farmington Public Schools Orchestra Teachers and members of the Hartford Symphony invite you to join them for 3 weeks of intensive music-making and fun! The Full Day Program is offered to students enrolled in the morning program who would like to continue into the afternoon. Students will receive additional instruction on their stringed instruments and work on extended visual arts projects. There will also be time for basketball, four square, and other outdoor games. Suzuki Strings Academy is designed for students with at least 1 year of instruction on the violin, viola, cello, or string bass, no beginners, please! Students should bring their instruments, music books, a snack, lunch, and a water bottle.

8:30-9:00 Small Group Lesson
9:00-9:30 Note-Reading or Group Class
9:30-10:30 Visual Art or PE
10:30-11:30 Orchestra Rehearsal
11:30-12:30 Lunch / Recess
12:30-1:30 Orchestra Rehearsal or Lesson
1:30-2:30 Art or Playground Games
2:30-3:00 Note-Reading or Group Class
3:00-3:30 Snack / Recess
