Suzuki String Academy (Gr. 3-10) HALF DAY

The Farmington Public Schools Orchestra Teachers and members of the Hartford Symphony invite you to join them for 3 weeks of intensive music-making and fun! Daily classes include mini-lessons on your stringed instrument, note-reading and group class, orchestra, movement, and visual arts. Advanced players may also have chamber music opportunities. Suzuki Strings Academy is designed for students with at least 1 year of instruction on the violin, viola, cello, or string bass, no beginners, please! Students should bring their instruments, music books, a snack, and a water bottle.
HALF DAY Schedule:
8:30-9:00 Small Group Lesson
9:00-9:30 Note-Reading or Group Class
9:30-10:30 Visual Art of PE
10:30-11:30 Orchestra Rehearsal
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: JULY 1
