Through The Eyes of Children- A Livestreamed Concert

-featuring Cuatro Puntos Ensemble, clarinetist Alexander Kollias, and middle school writers from Do The Write Thing

Do The Write Thing helps children heal from violence of all types by challenging them to write about it. Each year over 90,000 middle school students across the USA write essays, and 50 make it into a book in the Library of Congress. These children will read excerpts from their essays, and the musicians will respond. We’ll be joined by dancers from Sonia Plumb Dance Company.

PROGRAM
A soundscape including the voices of children and short musical responses to these words written by several composers from around the world.

*Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this event will be streamed in high quality from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut. Upon reserving your ticket you will receive a link by email that will take you to our digital concert hall.
