Updates from Israel: The New Zionism

JNF has evolved way beyond planting trees and is now engaged in building the State of Israel. Today, JNF is invested primarily in the Negev and Galilee – the south and the north of Israel – encouraging Israelis and Olim to live in those regions. JNF is a leader in the areas of community building, creation of employment opportunities, special needs and disabilities, education and youth movements. In addition, JNF is at the international forefront in developing state of the art water solutions and technology.

Dar Nadler is Jewish National Fund’s Israel Emissary to New England and the Capital District. She has and still is dedicating her career to the state of Israel. She was CEO of Blue White Future, a prominent Israeli political NGO, established by former head of the Israeli Shin Bet, Admiral (ret.) Ami Ay’alon. Prior to that she served as a senior advisor in the Ministry of Defense during PM Ehud Barak’s tenure as the Minister of Defense. Dar was born and raised in a Kibbutz, served in the IDF and graduated from Tel-Aviv University with a master’s degree in public administration.
